Meals on Wheels

The LOEL Meals on Wheels Program was started by Mr. Holz in 1978. The program delivered meals to 10 homebound seniors. In 2008, the program was serving up to 100 meals a day before its unfortunate closing.

In 2010, LOEL Senior Center completed the commercial kitchen with help from the City of Lodi CDB Grant and private donations and the Phillips Family.

Since then all of our daily lunch program meals are prepared in house. It has been a priority since the completion of the kitchen to reestablish the LOEL Meal on Wheels program. We are now preparing and transporting hot nutritious meals daily.

Volunteer opportunities are available on Monday through Fridays from 10:15 am to 12:30 pm.

Various positions available. Call 365-0572 or 369-1591 for more information.
