Sewing

The LOEL Sewing group meets the first two Wednesdays of each month from 9 AM to 11 AM. The Sewing group has been serving the community since 1978.

The group makes protectors, blankets, lap robes, squeeze balls, shawls, and wheelchair totes that are given to the nursing facilities and elderly people in need. The group also makes blankets, booties, and caps for infants at the Neo-Natal unit at San Joaquin General Hospital, the Crisis Pregnancy Center, and the Ronald McDonald House. The sewing group is always in need of sewing hands.  Come join the fun and become part of the LOEL Sewing group.

Painting

Our painting class meets each week at 10:00 AM every Tuesday at the LOEL Center.  Learn new painting techniques, to make new friends, and create masterpieces.  Our painting classes are open to all who want to learn how to paint or who would like to ‘brush up’ on their already-learned skills. There is a small fee, payable to the instructor, associated with this class.

Crafts

The LOEL Craft Group meets at 9:00 AM every Monday to make handcrafted items just for fun, our meals programs, and for the holidays.  Everyone is invited to come bring new ideas, get creative, and make new friends.
